Color challenge from Jeanette's blog!
Stars! Stars! Stars! Love them! ctmh colors: creme brulee, outdoor denim, indian corn blue and cranberry... perfect for my pic's I had of karissa...they were
"rustic" outdoorsy, and she hates all the girly girly colors... made a fun card too with the ms chillin set and boom from ctmh.
the Power of Black and White!
My mom hates black and white photo's but I love them!they were introduced to color in her life and said she has seen enough black
and white.. but the power you get from B&W is so unique.. you can get more of
a "feel" for the person., or story..more "depth" ...
anyways I am happy with my layout of kayleigh! No stamping! just embellishments and paper!

MoJoMonday sketch challenge # 143!!!!!
this weeks MoJo! is also the color palette for Jeanettelynton.com.....Great way to get your mind thinkin...... you take the good.. you take the bad...
no wait, thats the facts of life...LOL JK......anyways..... I followed the color palette and the card sketch...and used my imagination! I first random stamped on a 12x12 colonial white cs in versa mark the butterflies and flowers and white embossed them....then you take sponge daubers and dab them right into your ink pad and start from the Middle of your embossed image and "swoosh" out or around... then I sponged in all the rest using all colors from the palette.. and then used them for my
background on the card and added the pearls...( I think it finished it)
I just had to use a "bow" even tho the sketch did not have a bow...
all supplies ctmh , except flowers are hero arts..

Mo Jo monday sketch 142~
I always look forward to mondays just to get the new sketch!!!!! one of the best part of summer is sandles and being barefoot, so that is what I chose to do for my card and add lots of bling!!!! die is sizzix , "scatter job" by hero arts, cardstock is S U , bling is ctmh and "birthday wishes" is verve!!!!
